so what you're telling me is this games economy in reality is not real? If there is a cheaper alternative that will make you almost the same as a dyework, then go for the cheaper one. Ideally you'd want a city with cheap silk and dye prices and high velvet prices, but getting everything ideal is almost impossible. A dyeworks for example requires silk and dyes as resources and produces velvet. It's all about local cost of the resources required for the business as well as the local cost of the product being produced.
